Restrict continuous cloud upload to event clips and snapshots rather than 24/7 streams, and size the data plan around how often footage will actually be reviewed remotely.

Signal quality drives real throughput more than the router spec sheet does. On marginal sites, an external antenna mounted with a clear line to the tower usually produces a bigger improvement than upgrading the router.
