Installer notes
Watch the total PoE budget, not just the port count
Sixteen ports does not mean sixteen high-draw cameras. PTZs, heaters and illuminators pull far more than a fixed dome. Total the real draw of your camera list before relying on recorder-supplied power alone.
Plan storage around retention, resolution and frame rate
Retention requirements set the drive capacity, not camera count. Longer retention, higher resolution and continuous rather than event recording all multiply storage. Tell us the retention policy and we will size the drives.
NDAA compliant for publicly funded projects
This recorder is NDAA compliant and suitable for federal, state, municipal, K-12 and transit projects where Section 889 restrictions flow down through the contract.
