Installer notes
Built-in PoE means one less switch on the wall
Cameras land directly on the recorder, which powers them and keeps them on an isolated camera network. For runs beyond the recorder port count or past standard cable distance, add a PoE switch or injector upstream.
Size the channel count for growth, not for today
Most sites add cameras within two years. If the plan is close to eight, step up to the 16-channel recorder rather than stacking a second appliance later.
