Why Choose IP Intercom

IP-based intercom systems provide greater flexibility than traditional analog door stations, allowing remote answering, system integration, and scalable deployment across single or multiple locations.

Important Note

Requires compatible SIP, ONVIF, or VMS platform for full functionality.

Installer notes

Mount it for faces, not for heads

Set the station so an average adult face sits in the middle of the frame. Mounted too high it captures foreheads and hats; too low and it looks up a visitor. Check the live view before the final anchor goes in.

Plan door release before you pull cable

Remote unlock needs a path to the strike or maglock and a power supply sized for it. Decide whether release is handled at the station, the controller or the access panel at design time — retrofitting it means opening the frame twice.

Weather and vandalism at the door

Exterior stations take sun, driven rain and knocks. Use the manufacturer surface or flush box rather than a generic ring, and seal the top edge — water entering behind a panel is the most common early failure.
